Prof. Dr. Snežana Pajović, Acting Director of the BioSense Institute, appeared on Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV), where she spoke about the importance of interdisciplinary research, the role of young scientists, and the BioSense Institute’s contribution to the advancement of science and society.

During the interview, she emphasized that the BioSense Institute is a unique research institution in Serbia and the wider region, where interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research brings together information technologies with biology, agriculture, ecology, and other scientific disciplines.

“BioSense is an institute that applies new technologies, digitalization, and drone-based solutions, while at the same time studying natural phenomena from multiple perspectives. By collecting and integrating diverse data, we demonstrate that all scientific disciplines are interconnected and that, together, they contribute to improving the quality of life,” said Prof. Dr. Snežana Pajović.

Speaking about the Institute’s people, she highlighted that BioSense brings together a large number of young researchers, who represent one of the greatest assets for the future development of every country.

She also noted that BioSense holds the status of a Regional Centre of Excellence, a recognition that reflects the quality of its research, its international reputation, and its continuous commitment to developing innovative solutions.

“This Institute is a Regional Centre of Excellence for a reason. BioSense clearly demonstrates that science is beautiful. Let us shine through science and dedicate ourselves to research and education, because they are the surest path to prosperity,” Prof. Dr. Pajović concluded.
